EntreePlay operates this restaurant and dish directory. Questions, privacy requests, and consent concerns can be sent to privacy@entreeplay.com.
Information we use
- Account information: your name, username, email address, password hash, profile content, and sign-in records.
- Community content: restaurants, dishes, reviews, ratings, images, favourites, and related metadata you submit.
- Security and operations: session identifiers, request data needed to prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and operate the service.
- Optional audience measurement: only after consent, the site may record the requested route and path, referring host, browser user-agent, and a shortened IP address. It does not include your username, account ID, full query string, or a persistent EntreePlay tracking ID.
Why we use it
We use account and submission data to provide the service you request. We use limited security data to protect the site and our users. Remembered location and audience measurement are optional and rely on your consent. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time using .
Cookies and similar technologies

Optional categories are off by default. Rejecting them does not prevent account, security, or cookie-choice storage. When you withdraw consent, EntreePlay stops loading the affected services and removes the optional first-party cookies it can access. Your browser or the third-party provider may require separate controls for third-party cookies already stored.
Service providers
- DigitalOcean hosts the application and database.
- Postmark delivers password-reset and other transactional emails. Open and link tracking are disabled for these messages.
- Google provides interactive maps after you select a map control. That action connects your browser to Google and shares connection data such as your IP address. Restaurant maps are not loaded when the page first opens. Search-results maps load automatically only after you previously requested one and the 90-day search-map preference remains enabled.
These providers may process data outside your country. We use provider terms and available transfer safeguards where required.
Retention
The consent-based EntreePlay request log is automatically limited to 90 days. Password-reset links expire after use or after their configured validity period. Account and community content is kept while the account or contribution remains active, unless a longer period is required for security, disputes, or legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to certain uses. You may withdraw optional-cookie consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email privacy@entreeplay.com with enough information for us to verify and handle your request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
EntreePlay is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Local law may require a higher minimum age for consent.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service or its providers change. Material changes will be highlighted on the site and the date above will be revised.
