I have had dishes with calamari ink in the past, but to be honest I didn't quite what the taste was like. This time, I thought I'd refresh my memory and let me tell you that I was not disappointed. The dish itself does appear to be a version of Paella as the rice was bathed in some type of Cuban concoction . It featured just the right amount of saltiness along with the wonderful aromatic saffron taste associated with Paella. The addition of the ink really brought out the taste of the sea and with every bite I felt like I was eating at a local restaurant near the coast. Truly, a surprising delight! I would definitely recommend the dish and if your up for going through the off beaten path I would highly recommend such a tour. Read Less - rolley.tuazon
